Sky Diving in the Philippines

So, what is skydiving?

Skydiving is jumping out of an aircraft, but you’re not jumping alone. Instead, you jump from the plane with a skydiving instructor who is attached to you, or more accurately, you are attached to them.

The jump is made from a light aircraft that takes off from Sabu Island and lands on one of the most beautiful islands in the region.

The skydive is performed from an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet, and the freefall lasts for about a minute of sensory exhilaration. It’s an incredible experience with crisp air and breathtaking views of the Philippines islands, but this time, from above!

Freefalling for Fun, Safety, and a Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience!

The skydiving experience includes:

  • Brief training before the flight
  • Professional and experienced skydiving instructor
  • Skydiving above the breathtaking islands of Bohol
  • A certificate upon completion
  • Your skydiving video at the end of the jump (bring an SD card for video transfer).

The equipment used for skydiving is top-notch and brand new. Personal instruction before the jump, covering the necessary techniques for landing with your instructor. All instructors are highly skilled, with a rich background in skydiving, and they hold USPA (United States Parachute Association) certifications. There is a weight limit of approximately 110 kg. It’s important to wear comfortable and flexible clothing, as well as comfortable and soft shoes.

The skydiving company that operates the jump in Sabu is an extension of skydiving centers in Cebu, El Nido, and Mactan. The owners, Brad and Asina, hold UPSA Tandem diplomas, AFF (Accelerated Freefall) instructor certifications, and S&TA (Safety and Training Advisor) with over 13,000 jumps in their record.
