The Chocolate Hills Tour in Bohol Island

In chocolate hills tour, you will visit the following sites:

Baclayon Church – Located just a few minutes’ drive from the central city in Bohol, Tagbilaran. The church boasts a very large bell that dates back to 1835 and is recognized as a national treasure primarily because it has been preserved in such an authentic condition to this day.

The Largest Python Ever Captured – Yes, you heard it right… in Bohol, you can see the world’s largest python ever captured, which was once caught.

Loboc River Cruise with Lunch – A charming 1.5-hour cruise along the Loboc River that includes lunch during the journey. It features a local band performing local folklore while you enjoy your meal. The tour includes a beautiful performance by the locals who showcase their dances and music immediately upon your arrival in their area.

Bilar Forest, a Man-Made Forest – This forest, located in the center of Bohol Island, is especially renowned for its well-organized rows of trees, an extensive area of trees planted by the locals. Besides the short stop you’ll have during your day trip, this forest has evolved into a new hub for ecotourism. It offers excellent tours, treks, cave visits, and a fantastic opportunity to encounter unique wildlife and rare birds that the island is known for.

Visiting the Habitat of the Tarsiers – The Tarsier, considered one of the smallest primates in the world, can be observed up close in various locations on Bohol Island. Tarsiers can also be spotted in remote and undeveloped areas, but there, the chances of seeing them are relatively small since they hide among the branches, and their size allows them to remain hidden from view.

The Chocolate Hills – The famous Chocolate Hills in Bohol number around 1,268 and are quite unique in their shape, size, and color. What’s striking about these hills is that when you ascend to a viewpoint, you can see a 360-degree view of the hills stretching for kilometers, and among them, the locals still reside. The Chocolate Hills get their name from their color, which resembles chocolate during certain seasons of the year.
