Romblon

Romblon

Welcome to the lush and beautiful islands of Romblon, located approximately 187 nautical miles south of Manila, Philippines.

Romblon, known as the “Marble Capital of the Philippines,” is blessed with high-quality marble that rivals the Carrara marble of Italy, known for its exceptional quality. The rare and top-grade black marble can be found on Alad Island.

This tranquil and enchanting province is home to three major islands, each with its natural wonders: Romblon, which houses the provincial capital; Tablas, the largest island that showcases untouched natural beauty; and Sibuyan, home to the stunning Guiting Guiting and Nailog mountains. Due to its breathtaking natural beauty, tourism has become a significant source of income, with its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a rich variety of corals attracting both foreign and local visitors.

Another interesting fact about Romblon is that Tablas Island is strategically located at the heart of the Philippine archipelago, serving as a crucial transportation link between Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—the three largest regions of the country. The town of Odiongan is considered the commercial and industrial center of the province and is home to Tugdan Airport.

Come and explore the wonders of Romblon, where you can enjoy pristine beaches, breathtaking landscapes, and the renowned marble that has made this province famous.

How to get there.

The quickest and most direct way is by taking a direct flight with Cebu Pacific to Tugdan Airport on Tablas Island. Due to its relative proximity to Manila, you can also take a bus from the EDSA Cubao terminal or along Taft Buendia Avenue, which will take you between two to three hours to reach the port in Tanagas. From there, you can take a ferry to either Odiongan or Romblon.
